 Many places of interest include the waterways and restaurants of Venise Verte; La Rochelle, its beautiful old harbour, and Ile de Ré. Although sufficiently inland to escape the tourist scene, there are numerous sandy surfing beaches within 30 minutes. Walking, fishing, boating.
